The binding contract in Massachusetts real estate transactions that follows the initial offer. Typically signed 7-14 days after offer acceptance with a larger deposit (5-10% of purchase price).

After your $700,000 offer is accepted, you sign the P&S within 7 days with an additional $35,000 deposit, establishing binding obligations.
