Definition

The governing body of a condominium complex that manages common areas, enforces bylaws, collects fees, and maintains shared amenities. Similar to HOA but specifically for condominiums. In Massachusetts, governed by the master deed and bylaws.

Example

Your Winchester condo association charges $425/month per unit for building maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and reserves. The association board votes on major repairs and rule changes.
