Buyer Credits

Definition

Concessions or credits given by the seller to the buyer, often negotiated to cover repairs, closing costs, or other expenses. Appears as a credit on the closing statement.

Example

Seller agrees to $3,000 in buyer credits to cover minor repairs discovered during inspection, reducing your out-of-pocket costs at closing.
